My awesome class,
Thank you all again for a wonderful year. These last couple months have really been amazing for me. To see you as a class truly learn to rely on one another has been a true blessing. It makes every trial and every challenge we went through well worth it. The world needs people like you. I hope and pray that you will continue to look out for each other, especially since I can't do it for you any more. If you ever need me for anything, you know where to find me. I can't wait to hear what wonderful things you accomplish in life. I will miss you all greatly.
If for whatever reason we don't meet again in this life I want you to know my friends and I have agreed that when we get to Heaven we're going to meet in the bottom-left corner, wherever that happens to be. You're all invited and I will await meeting you again.

Welcome to the homepage for Mr. Roughton's AVID class!
AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. It is
an elective offered at our school. Our goal is to instill our students with a desire to attend college and give them the skills to make that possible.
AVID students must apply to the program and show a willingness to work. We want students who want to succeed. We do try to have fun when we can though! We want AVID to be a home away from home and having fun plays a key role in that.
