Welcome to the homepage for Mr. Roughton's AVID class!
AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. It is
an elective offered at our school. Our goal is to instill our students with a desire to attend college and give them the skills to make that possible.
AVID students must apply to the program and show a willingness to work. We want students who want to succeed. We do try to have fun when we can though! We want AVID to be a home away from home and having fun plays a key role in that.
