Estimated time to complete: Half a period
Your Task: Choose a term, location, event, or historical figure we have studied this unit. Use your notes and the textbook to create an acrostic poem.

An Acrostic Poem is a poem where the first letter of each line spells a word and each line gives details and helps explain the chosen word.

Example 1: Poems

Poems should show
Originality,
Explain something from the unit, and
Make
Sense

Example 2: History

How do we learn about the past?
Investigating ancient ruins,
Studying artifacts,
Translating foreign languages,
Observing human behavior, and
Reading primary sources, but we can’t time travel…
Yet.
