Notes of the Week: Dark Ages 1 and 2

Challenge of the Week: Medieval Monuments

How to play: Find any of the following historical monuments on the map below and provide proof to Mr. Roughton that you found it. The first student to find any of the items and provide proof will earn 30 points toward their class StudentScore.

     -Chartres Cathedral
     -Notre Dame Cathedral
     -Sherwood Forest
     -Island of Sicily
-Any European Castle (50 points for this one!)
     -Jerusalem

BONUS: Earn double points if you also provide the latitude and longitude!

How to provide proof: Once you have found the object push the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (top-right corner usually).  Then, open any picture editor (Paint, Photoshop, Word, etc.) and Paste the picture (go to edit > paste).  You can then print the page or save it and email it to Mr. Roughton.

Challenge of the Week 2: Pop Culture Points

Any time you find a history reference in pop culture whether it is a movie, tv show, video game, comic or a song bring me the title and a description and you'll score your class 20 points!

Confused? Watch this video below from another teacher who does this project.
